IDYLLE PRINTANIERE (Idylls of Spring) by ROJAN (1891-1970) is an erotic portfolio of that tells a sexy story without words of an encounter at a metro station between two travellers who are then found entwined in the back of a taxi that then leaves them at a maison de passe to consumate their mutual lust. ROJAN, strangely enough, was mostly known as a childrens book illustrator. This deco portfolio containing 30 colored lithographs was issued in Paris in 1933 in an edition of 516 on Arches paper. This is #272. It is in the original folio cover and is in very good condition. |
